New stained glass

In the glass department, experienced glass selectors and cutters choose and cut small sections from sheets of a variety of brilliant colored glasses (many of which are imported from the Old World) and, with the aid of sunlight, translate into permanent form the color scheme suggested in the original sketch.

These pieces, after having been removed from the plate glass easel, are taken by glaziers, laid on tables, leaded, soldered and cemented together to form the finished window which, when in place, is "A picture in living color that will last as long as the walls which encase it."
